I wish there was a sorting hat community somewhere
To me; being mature matters and is valued.
This life I'm surrounded by relatives or acquaintances or where I've attempted work/volunteering where people are constantly talking rubbish… it's constant commentary about rubbish… theirs and what they perceive to be mine. They are so impatient with their nonsense narratives and become spiteful if you can't or won't keep up.
It's disgusting to observe someone openly working out how to get attention, how to get what they want and constantly sensationalising everything.
I'm late 30's and honestly don't think I want to make it to 40.
I can't place any event or activity to make my 40's appealing.
January sees my neighbours up in arms about roadworks that will effect everyone's parking; they keep talking to me about it (I don't drive) so I said 'not a clue but good luck and keep calm' one has said 'oh you don't have a car; so you don't care because it doesn't effect you; maybe a bed bug on your train is due' I was baffled a moment and the look on my face prompted her to panic then offer me 'only joking, your so lucky' she smiled smugly and I shrugged and walked off… as I processed it over a few minutes I'm guessing she was mean and then felt she recovered it with wit?
All I've done so far this year is get myself up, washed and dressed to go for a daily walk and that's the interaction as soon as I step outside!
