NO PAIN AT ALL???

I found this experience from a website that collects NDE experiences: https://www.nderf.org/Archives/exceptional.html#:~:text=2855. Barbara, least bit scared.

Breathing in the water was relieving and not at all what I had expected it to feel like. I took in another small breath of water through my nostrils and let it go down my throat. Still no pain. I hungrily swallowed a mouthful of water. There was no choking sensation as I had anticipated. Instead, it felt relieving as the water went down my throat. I kept breathing in water until my lungs no longer felt like they would burst. A peacefulness filled me. I watched as a bright white light came out of my chest and rippled up through the water. When I looked down, I could see my physical body below me. My physical body looked peaceful, calm, mannequin-like, with my blond hair fanned out. My arms were relaxed and poised slightly away from my body while my legs were in a standing position with my feet touching the mud. I looked like a life sized doll. Now that I was in spirit form, I felt at peace and I wasn't the least bit scared.
I wish that my ctb will also be painless like this

I wish I could do this as well but almost always, your body will block the water from entering your lungs; you can't really force it. But yeah, many people who experience drowning report this same euphoria:
1. I finally inhaled (water). All the tension in my chest instantly cleared and it felt almost as if I were breathing in air. I was cold which was alarming considering the water was warm, but I didn't exactly care. My whole body had gone lax and I let my eyes slip shut. It felt just like falling asleep.

2. I realized that no one could save me and I began to just relax. I couldn't move, didn't want to move. I thought to myself wow this is a stupid way to die. I wonder what happens next. And it's like the moment I calmed down I couldn't feel anything. It felt like meditation.

3. Immediately (after inhaling water) you will feel very relaxed and peaceful for a moment or two, also with no fear, until everything goes black and you pass out

4. Just a second or two later the 'panic' feeling left me. The next thing I knew I was looking at a moving wall of beautiful colours; sea shells, sea fish, quiet, beautiful as my body slowly drifted down, down, down. No panic, no pain, no regrets, worries etc., the most pleasant experience I've ever had.

5. All I can remember was it seems like I was looking through a kaleidoscope of pretty colours. I would've disappeared into oblivion peacefully and painlessly.

I totally agree with you

Most pro-life websites state that inhaling water is torture, that lungs feel like they are burning. But I keep finding such painless experiences. I really wish my experience will be painless if I don't choke myself by swallowing something. I never imagined that drowning can be such peaceful
Near death experiences, so they didn't actually die?
yes. They almost die but revived by others
I wish that when my time comes, even choking (suffocation) will be bearable. I have to do it to not give in to SI. Choking means I can't change my mind. But yes according to most sources, it is horrible. But who knows, maybe it can be calm experience too in some people

thanks for providing source. I also always try to provide source where I found information
For choking myself, I will try to inhale M&M candies inside sea, after hyperventilation. They are small, soft with no sharp edges, so maybe because of softness, they won't cause irritation, pain, and intense coughing.

If I see that after inhaling them I can still breathe a bit (partial obstruction), I will fill my mouth with dry sand so it will fill up every part of mouth and then add water to it, so it will turn into mud and no air can pass through wet sand. Dry sand quickly fills mouth, wet sand is less flexible than dry sand but it blocks air better
How do you think?
Dry sand will quickly enter tight windpipes and fill it up. Mud can't, that's why initially I need to use dry sand. But after filling them up with sand and adding water, windpipes above & below M&M candies will essentially be 100% mud. Air can't pass through them

Drowning is harrowing and very painful. You often get laryngospasm - a reflex which blocks water from entering the lungs. This causes suffocating without water entering the lungs, which feels like choking from the inside. Not a cool way to go.
