Those people just sound insensitive to me, it's why I personally don't see it as being the best idea opening up about suffering as so many people won't even try to understand, they will just be dismissive, I believe that many people just lack compassion in general.

Sometimes, I don't think parents like to admit it to themselves- or others how badly their children are struggling. I don't know- maybe they think it reflects badly on them. Or, are they just not particularly caring people? I'm sorry. Do you have any close friends you could confide in? People can be a bit funny with suicide though. For someone who hasn't considered it themselves- it may feel too much for them. To be honest, I haven't told anyone in years. I tend to only tell people if I get the impression that they have ideation also. Here is a good place to vent though- if you want to get some of your troubles out.

I understand you.
When I was younger and expressed how I felt, I was often belittled and not be taken seriously.
Ever since then, I've stopped expressing my mental health to any of my family members.
Some parents would never understand it.
I only confide in my friends and such.

It's a shame when parents don't listen to the problems of their children. Can't you seek help on your own, I mean visiting a doc finding a therapy? In the case you seek help it's better to start earlier than later imo. I wish you all the best!

I know it sucks my own dad said he doesn't care about how I feel. Thing is not all parents deserve kids if they can't handle responsibilites. Don't live up to anyone's expectations you will be drained. Go at your own pace even if you feel like people are ahead of you. Never compare yourself to anyone everyone has their own flaws just some are more better at hiding it.
