Classes are suspended today due to heavy rain. Hahhh. Now I have no excuse to go to the train station to get hit. For context, I'm already old but I still live with my family. Sad, I know.

I have to be blunt. Dying by train is one of the most asshole things a suicidal person can do, up there with threatening suicide. If you want to destroy yourself don't make it other people's problem. There are thousands of people relying on that train, each with their own problems - your particular brand of self-pity doesn't give you the right to ruin their livelihoods.

but this person probably has already thought about different methods but found out they didn't cant do it (like roping or sn)

I don't think trying to make a suicidal person feel guilty is the way to go about this, that could just lead them to feel worse and ultimately attempt the way your so much against. I think maybe some compassion for OP would be a better response, but what do I know?

Just because something is convenient doesn't mean it's an easy thing to do, it takes a lot for someone to do something like this. Im not saying I agree or disagree with you, Im not here to argue. You can say your opinion, but I don't know I think on this site we should try to deliver our messages in a more considerate manner.

I mean what I said but I removed my posts because I've just realized the other guy I was arguing with (not OP) literally has no regard for right or wrong. There is no point to that conversation.

Missing one day of work means a worker's family goes hungry or misses out on medicine for that day. That's just true and I don't regret pointing that out. We're all depressed here, it's a fucking suicide forum, that doesn't give any one of us the right to ruin hundreds of strangers' lives.
