ive lost my mind from drugs and psych drugs. I am quite insane. I can't take this suffering one more minute not one more second I've had enough!!!!!!!!!!! Enough. I wish someone would come help me. Message me. I'm not well in the head I am crazy crazy crazy from brain damage !!!!!!! Never would have thought in a million years something like this would happen to me. Can someone help me please. I am leaving behind people but I am crazy !!!! My head hurts. I've had enough. I've been hurting a looooooing time

I can certainly relate. I was placed on a myriad of psych meds following a half-hearted suicide attempt. I will say that they did not help me at all, personally. On the contrary, I feel like they made things much worse for me. Perhaps this is not the norm, and I know several individuals who say they have greatly benefited from antidepressants/ mood stabilizers. But if their testimony of their experience is worth hearing, then our's are too; I have since discontinued use of all psych meds. I wouldn't say that i have a "new lease on life," or anything. But I don't feel nearly as eager to ctb as I did while taking so-called "antipresants."

My brain is fried too. I spent the last several months losing my mind on Effexor and a very high dose of trazodone, plus benzos ativan and restoril. I'm off all of it now, but it looks like the damage has been done. I'm a lot less crazy than I was, but I've become so inarticulate I can barely hold a conversation. My head feels empty. Is this at all what happened to you?

I hate to discredit the people who praise meds but at the same time most people I know who praise meds will also spend all their time talking about how depressed they are. I find it hard to believe that meds are as good as some people claim if they also don't show any signs of getting better. I read that SSRIs have the same success rate as placebos so maybe they just convince themselves its working without it really doing anything.

Are you still here? I don't understand how this is possible, you feel brain damaged on the drug or you are still feeling brain damaged after stopping? What drug? I feel similar I'm so confused yet empty
