So I found a welding supplier for nitrogen that delivers but there is no spec sheet or info on the product page that deaignates purity. I called them to ask and they assured me it's 99.9%..but they have no certification/specs available or anything.

Can you trust a company that says it's tanks are 99.9% pure if they aren't backing it up with any testing? Does that mean it's probably 95+ and would work for an exit bag? Or could it cause brain damage if it has just enough O2 contamination to sustain low level life, but not enough to cause death?

All the reputable gas companies that sell 99% pure tanks seem not to deliver to residential addresses. Companies like AirGas have online application that reqquire you to be a business and it doesn't seem possible to BS the app

Wonder if there is a test/gas analyzer that would reassure this, but idk

That's definitely weird, the company that I got my gas from was a welding company nearby my house. They have specifications online that list the gas as being 99 percent pure. In my humble opinion, I don't think 95 works for an exit bag. I see people only using 99 for an exit bag. It's not really like how it is with sodium nitrite, where I believe 95 is okay in some cases. There are tests you can do with a dummy head and an oximeter. I had to go pick mine up, I couldn't get it delivered. Air Liquide Canada allows you to make a personal account, but they don't seem to deliver either.

GasMonkey recommended 2.8 (99.8%) or higher. I believe he used 4.0 (99.99%) to CTB. I've seen some people say lower purity is fine too, but in practice it's best to not take any chances and use the highest purity you have access to.

Yes, there are O2 analyzers that work for cylinders. The PPH recommends the CY-12C which is available on amazon/ebay, and there are a few other options.

Even if it's 95 that doesn't necessarily mean the remaining 5 is pure oxygen. It's often a mixture of other gasses like argon, so the actual oxygen percentage is probably lower than that
