Nitrogen gas

I have an 8l cannister of nitrogen gas lying about in my flat from a failed attempt any ideas on how to get rid of it?

The gas smelt of licorice which threw me off. I had the bag around my head it didn't knock me out quickly like I had expected. Tried it twice but having that bag wrapped around my head eventually made me panic since I was still aware. At most it made me dizzy and lightheaded. And I had a headache from it after.
Might be something wrong with the gas tbh

Would depend where you are (guessing UK from "flat"). Here, that would probably be industrial waste which is only collected on certain days or/and needs to be taken to a depot....or a hardware store?

How didn't it work? I need to make sure the nitrogen method is effective. I don't want to end up trying it and waking up with permanent brain damage.

I think it was because I bought it off of ebay. So probably not good quality. Also had issues with panicking while having the bag wrapped around my head.

You need to use a full face mask
