nitrogen delivery problem

Hi all,

I tried to get delivery of a nitrogen cylinder from supplier AG but they said they won't deliver to a residential address.

How did people get around this problem and get delivery of a cylinder? I live in the USA.

I don't have a car and haven't driven in a long time (years). I have thought about taking an Uber to and from the AG store, but I am worried about the Uber driver balking at me getting in the car with a gas cylinder.

I don't have a car so I am going to take an Uber. I am going to bring a large tote bag and keep the cylinder (it's only 20 cu so not that big) in there with some towels. I'll lay it down on the floor for safety. I don't expect there to be any issues.

Can you report back if you were successful getting the tank via uber?

I was thinking of getting a 40cf cylinder. What kind of bag can I hide that size in?

Here in my country (not US) I told them I work at a local lab and they need pure Nitrogen.He asked me a few questions but I told him that I don't know anything about lab as I am just working as a daily wager with the lab and don't know about the "science stuff".
Good thing is that he thought the real reason I wasn't letting him speak with the "lab" people was because I was charging them more than the actual price of the cylinder.He even suggested that he would not tell them about the price but I refused .He eventually let me have it.I am planning to do a trial test and then refill it from the said guy.
I was extremely nervous at first but I am glad he came up with the story himself.
