I've been having some pretty nasty night terrors recently and I know it always helps me to share them so I wondered if anyone else wanted to share when they normally can't to see if it helps them too!
I'll start:
My night terror the other night was like no other one I've had before (they all feel like that every time I think). I remember it all so vividly but the bit that really stuck with me is it felt like my consciousness was split into two, asleep me having the dream still and awake me being completely frozen trying to wake up desperately screaming, panicking and trying to wiggle my toes (a technique my dad taught me to wake up from sleep paralysis) but blinded by the images of the dream. I've not been able to sleep well since even with my sleep meds, ptsd is a bitch.
