Nicotine method

I want to try the nicotine method, like described in the ash files.
Take 100g of tobacco soak it in water for some days. Remove the tobacco. Simmer it down until there is a syrup type liquid left. Add this to a drink.
Someone knows if that will be deadly?
If someone has more information please share it with me.

I do know that nicotine poisoning has been tried as a murder method... and failed.

Try some google searching and be sure to include the word "Snapped."

It's an American TV show that has featured people trying this at least once. If you can't find the episode, you might find other information that would be helpful. If anyone questions your searches, you can say that you heard about this crazy story on a TV show and wanted to know if it was real.

doesn't work i think. also most people who smoke regularly and did smoke too much know the sensation of having too much nicotine, its very unpleasant. same with caffeine. there are also nicotine liquids for ecigs, they can contain 20mg (or even more)/ 1ml, deluded in glycerine.
id imagine it very unpleasant, i did some research on it some years ago but i discarded this idea later on, i think it was said to be too unreliable, and you will most likely have to use an anti emetic, it burns like hell.

From a scientific point of view, a sufficient overdose of nicotine is fatal. I don't want to recommend or suggest anything. But with far more reliable and peaceful options available, I will say that you should seriously reconsider this.

I was chewing a lot of nicotine gum in the past. What I can say is that when it was too much nicotine in my body, I was almost throwing up.

smoker here. you will *puke*. even if you gonna tolerate all the anxiety (which makes SI kick in much easier), you prolly can't hold the nausea.

Imma give you some idea. I have this weird habit where I do a shot of dope and immediately go smoke a cigarette. it's kind of a speedball for me. and almost every time I do this, I have to rush back in before I can risk throwing up everywhere. I don't really get nauseous from opiates alone. it's something I have a huge tolerance for.

now you risk puking all the active ingredients of your suicide solution into the toilet cuz you ingest it orally. know what I'm saying?

I promise you there're other methods that fits your specific situation. cuz I suppose you're contemplating this due to restrictions to access certain methods. but there do be plenty alternatives out there. good luck.

I've definitely thought about the idea, had it a few years back when e cigs were really kicking off. Given I've never smoked I figured if I downed a few bottles of it I'd probably die.

Not a method I ever went further with, I think mainly the worry of having withdrawals if I survived. I imagine it'll be about as unreliable and unpleasant as most otc overdoses.

Found an autopsy report of a suicide with this method. The abstract says a little about it and method of death as follows:
"Nicotine overdose or poisoning might be serious or fatal and lead to death; caused by cardiovascular arrest, respiratory muscle paralysis, and/or central respiratory failure due to its toxic effect. Suicide by nicotine ingestion has been rarely reported due to emetic response. We present a case of suicidal nicotine poisoning. A 56-year-old man was found dead and the postmortem examination revealed no injury or disease. We confirmed a high concentration of nicotine in the toxicological test. Through scene investigation, we determined this case as a suicidal nicotine poisoning"
