Some parts of London. The ones "off the beaten track" rather than the main tourist areas. You can stumble across some village-esque, tranquil areas.

I feel sad because although I know logically that I must have been to a least a couple nice places, I cannot access either the memories of such places or the ability to qualify what 'nice' means to me.

Denver, CO and the nearby mountains. Denver has everything I want in a place - art, burlesque, culture, natural beauty, loads of sunshine, incredible food, and (naturally) legal cannabis.

I have also been to the Bahamas, and that was also beautiful even if it *was* tourist-y.

I grew up in FL, but it's sleazy-as-fuck once you get past those lush forests and sparkling sandy beaches. Going there hurts my heart now.

Ugh. I lived in Denver briefly and absolutely hated it. The town just sucked in my opinion. The people were just all assholes, everything was too damn expensive, and I switched to Bank Of America before I moved to Denver since it's all over the country. There is no BOA in fucking Denver! There is only 1 ATM in the god damn mall. That's it. The only thing I could find about Denver that was even half decent was being able to see the mountains from my apartment window.

Venice would be on my bucket list, if I were actually able to do a bucket list. That's so awesome that you got to go! The photos are so beautiful and you use a boat to get around...how cool is that?! I'd love to see Venice. My great grandparents came to America on a boat from Sicily and Naples, so those two cities would absolutely be on my bucket list as well. Along with Rome, of course. The nicest place I've ever been, though? I'm not sure... I guess I'd have to say San Diego, CA.

venice is like disney land - even supermarkets are in old fancy buildings

i cant even imagine how it must feel to grow up there (barely noone lives on the islands anymore because you make more money as a landlord if you rent the places to tourists)

For me, it was Tokyo, Japan. I went there a few years ago when passing by to catch a flight to another Asian country. I visited the temple and the mall, and that was about it since I only had less than day of layover time. I enjoyed it so much that it made me sad when I had to go.

I would love to go to Japan. One of the things I would have to visit is Himeiji Castle. I want to visit Okiku's well. I also want a chance to see the suicide forest.

For me,it's Ngorogoro Crater,it's near Serengeti though, and both are in Tanzania. Both are amazing.
The sunset was stunning,I could barely move my feet away.It just makes one feel how small and insignificant human beings are, even one million years after we humans go extinct, those meteorites, the giant crater will still be there, with the same sun rises and sets.Kinda feel like eternity.

French castles back in 2001. I can't name them all, I've visited up to 30 insightful places. Shame on me I was too young to enjoy it. As for cyber places - this forum, of course !

Nice, France in the summer of 2016. Sad that we purchased tickets two weeks before the attacks.

Oaxaca City in Mexico is gorgeous. I've only gone twice, but I've thought about going to a pet shop there with my fake N prescription and CTB in a hotel in the city. It's also located in one of the most picturesque provinces in Mexico and heavily inspired the Pixar film "Coco."
