Orcas island off of seattle. I dislike crowds and the ferry boat ride out there is beautiful.

hard to say. In the life I threw away I used to travel globally. One of the nicest experiences was at a high-end safari lodge in South Africa up near the border with Botswana. https://www.madikwe-game-reserve.co.za/

But also, I'd have to say Vintgar gorge in Slovenia. It's heavenly... Look it up on Google, just 1 pic doesn't do it justice.

Yes... I'm glad you loved it! Then I started renting a cute little apartment near Kruger Park and if my boyfriend hadn't been so irresponsible about paying rent (or rather, blowing rent on poker games and booze), I wouldn't be so terribly depressed right now, my one happy goal in life was to go live there again, the only place I felt truly happy :(

Thanks for sharing that. I really hope you find happiness again. I really do.

I won't say where, but it was a national park, with beautiful scenery, it was quiet, and there were no humans around for miles. Paradise.

There's a... what's a lower level than "village"?
There's this tiny village somewhere at north of Israel. Pretty sure it's a cult village. The main guy seriously looks like an old timey vampire.
No cars, about 50 people all combined, tiny houses, vampire dude even tried to teach me to play the piano since I showed great interest. Heavenly place. So calm and relaxed. Nobody gives an ounce of fuck. As long as you don't actively hurt anybody, you're welcome to do whatever you want.
The only vaguely bad thing about it is when I was leaving, on that day a group of what is clearly the most important women there gathered together, brought me to some religious room and did a little ritual for my safety. I was 100% they're about to sacrifice me there. lol

I love this forest outside the town I live in.
Can't state it's name - but it's very pretty with New Zealand forestry etc.

The Caribbean. I've been to almost every island and it gets more and more beautiful every time I go. I would love to live there, but with my disability, I wouldn't be able to survive. Not that that's a bad thing, but a slow death IS a bad thing. But I'm planning a move to Canada and obtaining citizenship, so fuck you USA, hello Canada!

Denver, CO and the nearby mountains. Denver has everything I want in a place - art, burlesque, culture, natural beauty, loads of sunshine, incredible food, and (naturally) legal cannabis.

I have also been to the Bahamas, and that was also beautiful even if it *was* tourist-y.

I grew up in FL, but it's sleazy-as-fuck once you get past those lush forests and sparkling sandy beaches. Going there hurts my heart now.

Venice would be on my bucket list, if I were actually able to do a bucket list. That's so awesome that you got to go! The photos are so beautiful and you use a boat to get around...how cool is that?! I'd love to see Venice. My great grandparents came to America on a boat from Sicily and Naples, so those two cities would absolutely be on my bucket list as well. Along with Rome, of course. The nicest place I've ever been, though? I'm not sure... I guess I'd have to say San Diego, CA.
