Hey sorry but i can't find the option to change to dark/light/UI.X mode.
Maybe i'm just stupid but can't find it in the preferences setting

Ugh I hate it, I can't find shit and I hate the light color (I always used dark). Please change it back, it's comforting for people who are struggling to have things be familiar to them.

I did my best to read both, but it's kind of difficult to read when there's a bright, fluorescent, white background blinding my eyes.

EDIT: Okay weird. The background changed from being black to being gray / white and now there's a link to the chat.

Should be able to find it by clicking on the three lines in the top left, then click "chat". The chat actually looks better now imo

It is pretty similar so I don't think there will be much of an adjustment once the dark theme is back. Reactions are a big plus, although there is one minor annoyance which is that it is now required to click someone's profile and go to the "About" page to see their gender. Before it would be visible in the profile pop-up when you click on someone's name. Also I don't like that @JustAboutDone is not included in the new update. :(

Wait so does this mean you can't see the gender of someone who has their profile hidden? Seems like most active users leave it hidden. I didn't pick a gender on purpose and this kind of makes me want to unhide my profile.
Oh nice, that "reply" button now appears when you highlight text on mobile. That's convenient. Before I always ended up accidentally deleting too much text when trying to respond to one part of a post.

I agree! Just realized how much better it looks now that it's gone, since you just mentioned it lol. Plus if I'm online in public, it's cool that there isn't this huge "SANCTIONEDSUICIDE" text on there for everyone to see

I really appreciate the effort the admins and moderators are putting into the site, but I too prefer the old design. Maybe it could be like reddit, where you can choose if you want the new or old design?
