Hi oblivion,
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us. Every VSED experience is so valuable to me.
I actually opted for this method too, 2 years ago. But since I've been on this site, I have to admit that I have strong doubts as to whether this is the right method. There is almost no pro-voice at all, but instead a lot of negative voices and experiences.
I found the idea of simply dying by doing NOTHING so harmonious. I thought to myself, YES, that's exactly how it has to be.
A peaceful way to pass away and at the same time an unmistakable message to the bereaved about how great the will to die was and that one could have stoped at any time for a long time.
Ultimately, I think that VSED is probably the method that goes the most differently for each individual. And nobody's course is predictable. Either way, you embark on a scary, long journey that can be completely the opposite of peaceful.
My biggest fear, for example, is that I will slowly suffocate at some point because I produce a lot of mucus and the drying mucus will eventually block my airways.
Maybe one should really go to a lonely place where there is no water and where it is quite warm. Pack a tent and set up somewhere hidden in a secluded, sunny spot with no theoretical possibility of getting water. I think this would give the best chance of a peaceful, quick course to passing out.
But anyway, I hope you make it in the here and now. Peacefully, just as you wish. And I look forward to your updates while you can still give them.
