Hi. I've had this method just stuck in my head for over a year, maybe two now. I've got an SUV and 100 foot of airplane cable. My plan is to go somewhere hilly and deserted, clamp one end of the cable around a tree and walk the other end uphill to my car. Cable goes in the rear hatch, between my seat and headrest then clamped around my neck. I start my car and accelerate full tilt downhill. Hoping the cable shears through my neck like wire through brie. Plan to wrap a bungee cord around my steering wheel and column then to the passenger ohshit handle so as soon as I'm not giving input to the wheel it goes in the ditch.

Has anyone heard of someone trying something like that before? Does anyone see a problem with that method?

That method could work I suppose, unfortunately it sounds so horrific. I'm sorry that that's your only option.

Thank-you

Horrific depends on your point of view I guess. I want something fast and instant. Hurt myself enough at work that blood and gore doesn't bother me much. To me ingesting something and waiting around to die, possibly having second thoughts and dying with second thoughts feels more horrific than a few seconds of acceleration followed by instant exit.

I've been to a similar successful suicide and heard of another. Someone tied a rope around a tree and around their neck. Drove as fast as they could away from the tree and successfully decapitated themselves.
Their head was found a fair distance from the car.
The main risks with this is if you back out at the last minute/second or don't give yourself a long enough distance to get to a considerable speed. That rope is still attached it won't decapitate you but it will almost certainly paralyse you, leaving you in a worse position. You now have 0 ways out of your own accord.
Another risk, your car continues to drive, if there are other cars on the road you could collide with them, or any pedestrians causing injury or death. And if you don't die you have to live with the k owledge that you've killed innocent people

The one I attended successfully killed themselves and didn't injury anyone else but their car did collide with a house

The other I believe he was left paralysed as he didn't leave himself enough rope to get enough speed. He hit a pedestrian killing them.

You can time it so that the rope pulls taught when the car hits 77mph.
