Hello to all of you.

I'm a new member and would like to introduce myself. My name is Marc, I'm 37 years old, from South Germany.

Well, why am I here? To be honest, I've messed up my life very much and have started considering the possibility of ending it. After doing some research, I've found this forum. Maybe I can find some people who like to share thoughts and I understand about each other's problems. And - should it really happen at the end - be some kind of support on a certainly not very easy path.

I look forward to receiving and writing some messages with you.

Best wishes

Welcome. Sorry you find yourself here. Arriving here (of all places on the big world wide web) probably came as a shock for most of us at least initially, merely my own personal assumption of course.

If I'm again allowed to generalize I'd say how you got here and what you expect from this forum are very recognisable. I do hope you'll find what you're looking for.

Know that SS is a pro-choice forum meaning no-one will encourage you to do it (nor the opposite) but discussion one way or the other is certainly allowed. No-one will judge you whether you decide death is indeed the answer or you feel like giving life another shot. Personally I'm a bit biased towards the second option (death is final, life may yet change) but I do recognise for many people that simply isn't feasible and I fully support every individual's right to decide for themselves.

It's certainly not an easy path: that's for sure. Hopefully some company will help lighten the burden a bit.

The best of luck to you whatever you decide.
