Hello everyone,

I'm a 30 y.o dude who's simply ran out of options. I've always known my life would take a turn for the worse, but somehow I managed to get myself a pretty good life. I had a house, girlfriend, dog, friends, my own business. During the past 3 years I lost my home, girlfriend, dog, business and mental health. I'm in such heavy debt that I'll never be able to pull myself out and my mental health doesn't allow me to. I've tried to sort things out but it's impossible. So here I am, ready for the bus and I need your help.

What's holding me back is the fact that I have great parents, a sister and two nieces who mean the world to mean. I can't find a way to pull through knowing it will ruin their lifes. They don't deserve it. So I'm here to ask you; How do I get this done and make it look like an accident? I'm not the least scared or worried about dying so I'm not here for attention, but for help with pulling this off.

I'm flat out broke, I mean I can't even buy a can of soda, and I'm afraid of heights / drowning / choking. Other than that I'm open about everything. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

Why are you afraid of drowning? It's pretty painless, and can be made to look like an accident easily.....do you like swimming in the ocean?

I almost drowned when I was 6-7, wasn't pleasant and scarred me. I'd have that as an option if I didn't live in a country where it's cold as fuck at the moment. Taking a swim would be as obvious as blowing your brains out. Thanks for the answer though.

I was ready to suggest drowning then you said you weren't up for it! Unfortunately that and a 'fall' while hiking are the best I can think of. You could crash a car, however I wouldn't do this personally due to the risk to life for other motorists. I think it's pretty hard to make suicide look accidental.

Crashing a car isn't a bad idea, never thought of it. Appreciate it!

Make sure that you are 100% sure in your decision before you take any action. Life can change drastically for the better when you least expect. Sorry you've found yourself on SS x

I have no way out. It isn't anything drastic as I've bought myself "another day" for long enough. For the first time I've accepted that this is what life has stored for me. It's all good. There's worse things than death, I just don't wanna burden the ones I love with a suicide. An accident is survivable for them, a suicide wouldn't be.

Hey mate, thanks! It's all good and yes, I'm trying to make it look accidental.

Ah if the water is cold even better, will be easier still....you don't have to make it look like you went for a swim, just like you had accidentally fallen in !

Hmmm that's tricky, honestly. It would be very difficult to make your death look accidental unless you were involved in a fatal car crash, an "accidental" overdose of something lethal, falling from a great height (cliff perhaps). Either way, whatever method you choose, your death will tear your family apart. I hope you are 100% sure before doing anything. Death is permanent.

Are you worried about accidental due to life insurance, or something else? If it's life insurance and an employer sponsored program in the US there usually isn't a suicide clause, and then if it's not employer sponsored, after 2 years the incontestability period is up and they will still pay.

*** disregard I missed the reason

Yes, that is one reason aswell. I have a clause that cancels it. (not living in the US) But mainly because it will rip my family to pieces. If I die, I know they'll manage. If I kill myself it will destroy them all. My parents have had a pretty rough life. I can't be adding to that more than needed.

If you live in an area where law enforcement has trained traffic accident investigators, they will be able to tell it wasn't an accident based on evidence like tire tracks.

The only ways I've seen to make death seem like an accident were with CO, like running a generator in the garage during a power outage, or a guy who barbecued in his van.

If you wanted to jump, I could see "accidentally" tripping in view of a security camera, but LE would probably analyze that too.

I didn't realise it was possible to tell based on tire tracks!

I'll take my chances. Best idea I've heard and I've been thinking about this for long now. I'll eat dinner then tell a friend I'm coming by and do it tonight to get this shit over with.

Not to mention the ECU has data recording functions which can be downloaded, the police are able to see if/how the brake pedal were pressed and what the steering input angles were in the minutes preceding the crash, as well as data from the throttle position sensor. It's not unlike what is available in airplanes, just more limited.

Drug overdose is one of the best ways of making it look accidental like a lot of coke and alcohol or heroine overdose but that requires money.

I caution that it will alert them that you are missing. If you crash on the route to their home, they may go looking, and if death isn't instant, you could be rescued.

I know you're ready to get it over with, but taking time to plan increases chances of success.

Just my thoughts....

Yeah, that's kind of my biggest issue in life hehe. I'll just go full speed into a tree with no seatbelt. I doubt they'll be able to prove anything.

I'll do it on the way back. Wanna meet a certain friend for the last time. And I will make sure that there's nothing to save.

I basically have zero resources. I haven't even been able to afford to eat properly lately because I don't want people to know how patethic I have become. Can't get hold of any meds or anything of that sort. I have access to a car though, which is why this sounds like an awesome plan right now.

Have you considered, if you have not done so yet, talking to them about your problems. Or is that something that can't happen

Then you better make sure you drive fast and put your head against the steering wheel so it can happen quicky. I feel for you. I know it's hard. If you do decide to go through with this then I hope you go as quickly and painlessly as possible and if you decided to postpone or reconsider we are all here to support you. No matter what you decide

I've talked to my family about my problems. They just don't know how badly fucked I am. They can't do anything. We're refugees, my family already lost everything once and my life goal has always been to be able to help my parents out. Instead I became this fucking burden of a person. Trust me, if I had a way to solve all of this I would do it. But I can't and the idea of living on under these conditions for other people is impossible. I'm afraid of going to bed because the anxiety eats me up alive and waking up every morning is like going to slaughter.

Sorry mate but this is a highly risky idea trust me you could end up paralysed for the rest of your life if not done accurately.
There are so many factors in this scenario that could go wrong. My advice on this car crash method : NO

I appreciate it mate, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. I highly doubt I will survive 200 km/h with no seatbelt. If I do, then I'll have to accept that life isn't done with me yet. I'm giving it a go.

If there's anything I have, then it's love. I spent the day with my sister and nieces. Don't worry about it. I hope you find a way out. This should be everyones last resort and it is mine.
