  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Thinking about attempting on alcohol poisoning. Toughts? I'd do it with the strongest beverages available in my country.

you will feel like shit and regret it, its a very slow death with symptoms progressively getting worse (jaundice, stinky breath, liver failure, oversweating)
and you will most likely puke everything out but even if its too late the death will still be slow and agonizing, people will begin to realize and get you hospitalized

best case scenario with this method that will actually give you a fast death is if you black out (LOC) while laying on your back and vomit, then it gets stuck and you just end up chocking on it without realizing because you're blacked out

I think it would be pretty hard to get your BAC high enough to a lethal level. How's your tolerance for alcohol? That plays a role, too. My cousin drank herself to death in just over 2 years. Destroyed her liver. I know that's not the same as dying from alcohol poisoning, but just putting it out there to show it's not that easy to die in a one time fashion from alcohol. She drank a lot, too. She was never a drinker, but had to find another way to dull her pain from Crohn's disease after getting in some legal trouble and having to take weekly urine tests for drugs. I'm sure her liver was already in bad shape when she started drinking.

its not about the "pain"

i used to be a heavy drinker. when you drink, there are stages. main ones being the euphoria/forgetting about all your problems/crying about something depending on your mood, and then the bad one, where you feel super nauseous and dizzy you can't even move, that happens when you drink more than you're supposed to. it gets worse depending on how much you drink

now that kind of feeling, even if you've been through it 100 times, you can never get used to it
it just naturally makes you regret drinking that amount, or drinking as a whole. its shitty enough to make you vow to never drink again and hope its enough to make it go away

you might try to lay down to hopefully sleep it off but its so bad you can't even do that, laying down just makes everything worse, you feel like everything around you is spinning and if you lay down any longer you will throw up

afterall it not really pain, its the mental and psychological effect it has on you.. you can still endure all of this and risk the very slight chance of death, but just know you'd be regretting all of it as its happening
