I've been trying to get meto; but it seems to be more difficult than sourcing N.

If you are in the EU it isn't that hard to come by. Meto was the first thing I got.

Don't have experience with either, but from reading up on it, I don't see why not.

This is correct. However Metoclopramide speeds up gastric emptying so its beneficial in terms of hastening death but it is not necessary as you state; more a precaution.
