N from A: relief then disaster

Hello, all
Recently I embarked on my process of working with A. I had heard a lot of things so I was nervous. I chickened out in the fall but when I reached out a few weeks ago he didn't mind and we picked up the process. Today my package arrived.
I had already gone from being in a place of radical acceptance, thinking i would just try again if it never arrived. I was so excited...
But when I unwrapped the package... I smelled the chemicals. The box was completely sodden and the product inside was completely smashed.
I'm so devastated right now.
I will try to reach out and have it replaced, but I'm not sure what will happen. If anyone has any experience with product replacement please let me know.
Everything else went so smoothly, I can't believe this.

update: one bottle has survived. I will let you know what happens w/ trying to get the other replaced.

Sorry to have that happen to you. Take pictures and show him. I am sure he knows he is getting work from recommendations. I think he will be happy to replace but check with others.

Sorry to hear. Im sure A will arrange something. Was it not wrapped properly? Did customs unwrap it? Normally the packing is pretty solid.

Workers usually throw the baggages / cargo boxes violently.

Sorry to hear. Im sure A will arrange something. Was it not wrapped properly? Did customs unwrap it? Normally the packing is pretty solid.

It was wrapped OK on the outside- no tampering at all. i think the issue is that the boxes of product didnt have any padding inside their personal boxes, just some padding around the outside of the boxes. like maybe the bottles should be wrapped in bubble if they're getting airshipped? someone pointed out how tough cargo handlers can be on a package, like definitely this got tossed hard on one side.

I've read a story similar to this before (in that case N didn't arrive at all) and A offered a second shipment at a highly reduced price. Maybe you can work something out with A like that, I think he doesn't want to waste his reputation and it basically costs him nothing.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I've talked to someone like 2 years ago that had a very similar experience, they also received broken bottles - so you're definitely not the only person that had bad luck in the past. It's rare but it can happen, I guess you were just very unfortunate. I think A offers a reship in such cases for a discount price. I hope you'll find a solution.

Update for anyone interested: I reached out and A said they would replace for 150 (like people have said), but now I have not heard from them in almost a week after telling them I'm ready to make the payment. Will let you know what happens. Hard to swallow that I may now have to order from D for one bottle $$$$$$

Final Update: I have tried reaching out to A through both of their listed emails. They are no longer responding, so I'm guessing the chance to affordably replace the lost bottle is gone. I would think they would have wanted to make another 150 off of me, but I guess not? I'm so disappointed that I'm literally in CTB limbo because they didn't package the product in a way that would have minimized destruction. I was ready to go and now I have to take the risk a second time? Exhausting.
At this time, I have not seen anyone else in the last few weeks talk about purchasing or receiving from N, but I have seen an increase in successful D purchases. My current speculation is that D is probably just A by a new name, because the form letter is relatively the same and the prices are almost the same- just slightly increased. It's pretty likely they wanted to revitalize business with a better reputation. So, now I will have to work with D because one bottle is not enough. Those of you who have already bought N know how much this will rack up the final total cost of the ~gold standard~ exit.
