Venting My update for my dog's surgery

So, there were some people that wanted an update for when my dog, Sugar, has surgery. That surgery was today. I am beyond devastated because they did a scan of her body so I could see if her cancer had spread....and I got told it had spread to her lungs. Saying I am upset is an understatement. My two dogs keep me grounded and make me so incredibly happy, I can't believe this could happen to one of them. Sugar is currently still undergoing surgery, but she will be out soon. I just want to hold her and tell her I love her. Thanks for the well wishes.

I'm really unsure, but she has had cancer for about two years now. She has cancer within her jawbone, and I guess it slowly spread to her lungs. There's really nothing I can do besides from maybe chemo, but that's a lot of money that I don't have, and there is no definite cure for it. I will definitely update everyone! Right now, she is at home sleeping

Thank you! I really do appreciate it. I am glad that I know about her condition more, but I already have been hearing my family members say I should "prepare for the inevitable." This really irks me because she is still fighting and going strong, I won't give up if she hasn't. She just got home an hour ago and she is heavily medicated lol. I take her back on the 30th to remove a suture but I will keep updating everyone!!
