Not be because of ctb but probably too ill now to ctb/ assisted dying. Dr is talking hospital care and stabilisation of terminal disease if possible. Not sure i will get out. Just wanted to thank you all for your kindness and empathy and i wish you kindness in whichever direction life takes you. Thanks to the forum and managers that enabled me to share my painful and often lonely journey. You are my friends.Having said that, im still here right now so i hope to post, comment until i dont..peace.

Thanks Walter. The last Year has been a physical and mental struggle with the disease and with the suboptimal health care system in UK. The pandemic.didnt help. I rarely eat now just juice. If the authorities are spying on us, i would ask you to think about the assistance in dying laws. We seem more at ease with keeping dying and suffering people alive.and.see.them suffer beyond measure. And yet our animal friends are humanely euthanized. I welcome the end now and maybe my end will arrive soon. Peace.

Doctors would basically save you only when you are either 1) fetus or 2) peacefully dying. They don't care about anything in between. Just like George Carlin used to say.

You deserve only the best I'm glad you wouldn't let them make you suffer

Yeah, 2inch chest depressions are used in resuscitation. It's quite a lot when you really think about that. Even though the rib cage hase give in it you're right, it's not uncommon to have broken ribs following resuscitation. That's fine if you have a happy healthy life to live. Otherwise it's just piling on extra suffering. Humanity, in all it's amazing advancements are so far behind on this one. You would imagine othetwise all things considered but I think it's because there's a kind of switching off of healthy people confronted with illness and old age. It's like they can't go thete to comprehend and empathise with it. Maybe it's part of survival instincts but everyone finds their way to our situations eventually so it's in everyone's best interests to get their/our collective shit together and start empathising.

I'll be really sorry to see you go. You've been a staple member here for as long as I remember. I think I identify with your username too.

Best o luck with appropriate meds to provide comfort. Opiates are pretty great on that front.
