As i've said in the title, my rope has arrived. It's a nylon rope, and I'm wondering what can I do with that to CTB? I just learned how to tie a slipknot, so I'm wondering if you can even hang yourself with a nylon rope? I heard its stretchy so it's not the best, but as long as it works I do not care

As for the rope material, it's not bad. If it's a bit slippery, you might want to use more secure knots to keep them from slipping.

The most important thing about your rope is that it can support your weight.

If the rope has some elasticity, you'll need to take that into account when choosing your anchor point, as applying your weight it may stretch a bit, and you might end up below the height you need/want.
