I understand why censoring may be beneficial for now.
However, my one concern about censoring discussion of methods is that many of us come here during moments of crisis and are understandably emotionally dysregulated - so we may all have moments where we experience difficulty censoring discussion of methods, as it may just "slip out." Could we all be mindful and lenient of this as we transition, given how quickly we need to make this adjustment?
A question I have, is what constitutes discussing methods? For example, would discussing a drug using an abbreviation such as F within a context that alludes to recreational use and not ctb, per say, be acceptable? (e.g., "I can't wait to receive my F so I can just pass out"). I assume this would be okay since one is not explicitly referring to it as a suicide method.
I hope this post doesn't come off as critical of these changes - my intention is for us to consider ways in which we can be mindful of how our own highly intense emotional states might occasionally interfere with all of us adjusting to these changes.
