My Mom Put Me on Hold...

I got into an accident today. She was the first person I called. I told her it's okay but we were in an accident. Not only did she put me on hold once, but twice.. to tell the deacon to bring Sweet rolls to church... before anything else.

My sister called and I informed her of the situation.. including my feeling on how she always puts the church before me. My mom then called back, my sister I guess tried to explain to her how I felt, and got mad at me for feeling like she puts the church before me ! She told me how I felt was wrong.. and I shouldn't feel that way. I should stop my feelings because it's not true ......

That's horrible. You have every right to feel upset. I hope you are able to have a better support system in the future and someone that appreciates you.

I'm not gonna pretend I know your situation or family members but remember the blood of covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. Family you choose to have in your life is strong.

That is so fucked up! I know what it's like to have a parent love a fictional being more than you. That must've hurt so bad, I hope you get the support you need.
