I don't know if I'll ever be able to get another job. I never got hired at one traditionally I always had a connection in getting one somehow. I still haven't heard anything back from my applications.

I get stressed easily around people and I'm not good at communicating or mentally making decisions. It has nothing to do with physical work it's people.

I wish I could be a NEET/Hikkimori but there is no way I could get a self income. I have enough to get a laptop right now but I'm not good with art, coding or anything.

I'm autistic but I'm pretty sure SSDI would refuse me since I wageslaved for years and I didn't get fired.

I don't know what my household would think of me if I did apply for it or request at least. They know I abandoned my job.

I'm not going to leech off of someone. I would rather CTB.

I am such a fucking manchild.

That has to be a terrifying spot to be in. I imagine it's very stressful for you not knowing if you'll be able to find a job you can live off of realistically.
It doesn't hurt to request SSDI or apply to jobs you aren't sure will hire.
I know some places like it when you call and ask if they've looked over your applications, it shows you're interested.
Maybe some place will surprise you, and I hope that's the case.

Being NEET is good only until when you start feeling so depressed that you don't even enjoy the internet. Everything is the same, you keep pressing F5 until something interesting comes up. On the other hand, you're free as a bird, you have time for anything you want to make, and this is awesome.
I've been a NEET and hikikomori for a little longer than 1 year, it was initially good, I had a lot of plans for my future. After some time (about 6 months), I started feeling bad, suddenly nothing was interesting and I was just a like a zombie crawling on the internet. But now I want to come back to the same life I was living 2 years ago, just like you.

I suggest getting a job for that doesn't require being around of people, though they pay very low. Maybe there are some jobs at warehouses where the work is more physical and less about talking.

Once my current temporary job ends in a few weeks, I'll be back to being a NEET. It sucks that while I have requested a hearing for my SSI case, I have yet to hear anything from SSA in regards to my hearing date or any information on that. While I do have enough money to survive for a while, I don't know if I have enough to hold out for more than half a year.

I can relate to your situation OP. I too have autistic tendencies. Fortunately, I'm highly functional but autistic nonetheless which makes alienation a real challenge as people seem to assume that I'm falsely identifying as autistic due to it not being an immediately obvious disorder

I know I have no future because I'm permanently housebound agoraphobic and isolated. I applied for hundreds of jobs and get no response because I'm discriminated against for having no previous experience (due to mental illness).

Name crossed out just means they are no longer a forum member. Might have been banned, might have chosen to leave, or might have posted a goodbye thread and therefore mods closed their account.
