My father grew up poor, dirt poor. Very often they didn't have to eat. He got educated and supported his brothers. He educated us too. Well we had enough to eat. But , there wasn't much of other things.
My father and mother both worked but couldn't make much. They had few savings. Most of which they spent on my sister's wedding.
My father retired few years ago. But, he joined at the same organisation on contract. His contract is about to get over. Also, they hired a new guy already in his place. He informed me today.
Ever since, I am panicking. i started working three years ago, at the age of 28. I make barely sufficient money to sustain me and my parents. I can manage that. But, if either of them gets hospitalised I would have to take a loan. Also I am yet to buy a house for myself. Financial insecurity is making me go crazy.

i feel you man, same here. being fucking poor is the worst, so much of your life revolves around worrying about money and fearing what is going to breakdown next. got an air conditioning that doesnt heat above 17 celsius and a car that doesnt work. the little money i saved up in these past months is going to be used on either to fix the air con or car or just for a new used car. the worst part of this is, youre always fixing things so they can hold on until you have more money then something else breaks down and youre back to square one doing damage control. also the new products being garbage and made to break in a few years doesnt fucking help.
