I have just came back home after being sectioned in the UK for two weeks after taking SN, I thought I would share my experience of this method.

After setting a day and time to CTB I sat down with 20g of SN diluted in 100ml of water put on my favorite album and drank the solution. I must stress I did not take any benzos or anti emetics. Although the mixture was quite salty I managed to get it down.

I remember feeling a little nauseous and dizzy but remained in my chair so help ease the symptoms. I don't remember much after that until the paramedics arrived apparently I had slumped in my chair onto the remote and turned the volume of my stereo up so as to generate a noise complaint and police visit.

Apparently from what I have been told this was around an hour after I had ingested the solution, once in the ambulance I was resuscitated and taken to hospital where I was stabalised and moved to HDU. When I woke up the next day according the doctor if I had arrived 30-40 minutes later I would have died that is approximately so roughly two hours after drinking the solution.

I was then assessed for 24 hours and moved to a secure unit.

From what I can recall this was quite a peaceful act and bar the nausea and dizziness I can't remember any unpleasant side effects.

Hole this helps

Hi, thanks for posting your experience. I hope you're doing okay - I know what a bad experience being sectioned can be, hope your stay wasn't too awful.

Do you think you will attempt this method again?

Hi @Kaluk thank for sharing :-) I hope you're doing ok now- have you had any permanent consequences? Also do you know roughly how long you were awake before you went unconscious? 5..10..20minutes? Did you throw up also? Sorry for all the questions

First of all, glad to hear you have no side effects and thank you very much for sharing your story!
I have a question: Did you fast before taking SN? If yes for how long?

It takes quite a while for sn to work:aw:, but apparently after 15 minutes people generally pass out!

I'm a little sketched after you said you took no emetics. Everybody's body is different so if someone else sees this, and thinks "well this person didn't take any and things barely happened to them, so I guess I can too." This isn't the case. Please take precaution.
If you could provide us with more info on anything else you can think of, that would be great.
Glad you are "ok"

There really wasn't any other symptoms?? Just dizziness and nausea?
Since you didn't take antiemtics, how is it you didn't throw up..

Sorry for the late reply as you can imagine I haven't been in the right frame of mind of recent, i will try to address all of the questions

With regards to fasting I had fasted since breakfast about 9am and took the SN around 10pm I had however had a few beers before taking it.

I couldn't really put a time line on taking the SN and passing out but would put it at about 20-40 minutes there or there abouts.

I have no idea how I didn't throw up but I didn't, maybe it was a one off I have no idea. I would ha e taken anti emetica but they didn't arrive in time for me to CTB. I would recommend to take them however as the nausea was quite bad.

The really worrying or good thing depending on how you look at it is I can't remember any serious pain other than the symptoms I have mentioned, and looking back it just seems memory wise like a heavy night on the drink. As in I can remember things here and there but can't put a timeline together.

I will be attempting this again but will be taking my anti emeitics this time. I am already omeprazole for an haiatus hernia.

As for being sectioned that was the worst part of the whole ordeal, attending group therapy sessions which I have no interest in asking to go for a smoke almost feeling as though you have been incarcerated treated like a criminal, but not breaking any law is soul destroying.

I hope all this helps again, and again sorry for my late reply

You just reminded me how horrible it us being locked in a psych ward. Never been to jail but damn you do feel like a criminal and sometimes you're in there with some. Thank you for posting this - I've been highly skeptical of this method but starting to consider it. I might just purchase the SN now in case pro-lifers catch on and make it difficult to get. I just worry about the nausea because I struggle with that already.

Forgot to add I acquired my SN from Interchem2018 on ebay.

I really do fail to see where locking someone area would make them change their mind about this situation if anything it made mine worse.

Received 250gm from them as well in december. Did you received it also as a bag inside a bag? Looks like white powder, not lumped though. Was worried about the quality.

The More I think about it the less I want to try this method. There are too many posts about people trying and failing. You don't see a lot of posts about people saying they attempted with N or firearm and failed. However that could be due to them failing and they ended up in a coma or are permanently locked in a psych ward. The professionals will definiely deem you as a danger to yourself and know it wasnt an attempt if you used one of these methods. I had a hard time getting out of the psych ward one time when I. cut my wtists - the social worker told me some methods categorize you at a higher risk, which looking back is pretty inaccurate since its well documented how unreliable & difficult that method is. Not like in the movies where you just bleed out peacefully. And gives you lots of time to call 911.

philip nitschke mentioned that on April 6 he'll have more information about SN. It'll be a livestream for the people who are members of Exit. There's a thread about it here.

You don't hear many stories about people who used SN successfully because they are dead. And you don't hear many failed attempts with guns because they cause brain damage to the point where the person can't grt on a computer and post about their attempt online.

You hear about failed SN attempts because there are little to no health consequences of failing

It really does seem like one of the better and more practical ways to go. SN + antiemetic. And I'm sure survival instinct kicks in before drinking it. That whole almost not letting you do it thing. But probably way easier on your survival instinct just to drink something than to shoot yourself, or kick out a stool from under yourself. Plus, easy to obtain, especially for the US people here. We probably have more a difficulty of getting the proper antiemetic which still isn't that much of a hassle. Cheap. Fast acting. And even though their might be some horrible initial pain, seems like people here say you pass out pretty quickly.

I myself want to have this as my backup method for full suspension hanging. Just in case I freak out from previous failed attempts with suspension hanging.
