hi.
my idea is to drown in my local outdoor swimming pool.
it only has a fence around it and as far as i know there aren't any cameras. i think i can just roll the weight plates and other supplies through the fence door cracks and then hop the fence. and i would do all this in the middle of the night.
however i am kind of scared that somebody might see me. but if nobody sees me i think it would be a very nice pool to drown in.
i was kind of concerned about who would find my body but i'm hoping it'll be lifeguards the next morning when they open the pool. so i would have to do it on saturday night because at this local pool there is a swim club (which i used to swim with) that has practices every morning of the week except sunday morning so i wouldn't want anybody from the club/normal people at the practices to see my body.
i remember when i used to swim with them in the morning practices once there was like a mess left from people who had supposedly broken in during the night and i'm assuming those people just hopped the fence to get in and out and they weren't caught so i should be able to break in that way too right?
i got 70lbs (30kg) of weight plates and i put them all in this gregory hiking backpack that has a chest strap and a hip belt/strap.
i'm just still trying to figure out how to attach the backpack onto myself in a way that i can't take it off. does anybody have any ideas? i've attached some pictures of my backpack. i was thinking of using duct tape to tape the buckles of each strap together once the backpack is on me, like wrapping a lot of duct tape around and around so it takes really long to undo or you have to use scissors or something to cut the duct tape off. i haven't tested that yet so i better go test that first
maybe i should use a chain instead? but i got 7x10lb weight plates so i'd have to chain 7 plates together or get different plates again like 2x35lb..
i'm also kind of worried the backpack might not be strong enough.
the only problem after i figure out the attaching weights problem which i should be able to figure out is finding a good body of water to drown in. i considered natural bodies of water, like hiking to a remote lake but they all seemed kind of scary at the bottom and i would rather drown in a swimming pool. so now i just have to find a good pool to do it in!!! unfortunately i don't own a private swimming pool...i looked at swimply for renting pools but i don't have a credit card or any card to purchase things online with. i could get one though! but i feel like that would be kind of mean to the swimply host. and also wouldn't i be kind of sus just 1 person renting the pool (i think usually people rent these pools for like group celebrations or pool parties etc.). i could say it's for exercise? but why would somebody rent a private pool just to exercise when they could just go to a public pool. maybe i could try it though just see if he says yes (i already have my eyes set on one host). and maybe i could do the schedule a message to somebody to call the police with my location thing so that it isn't the host who finds my body, it's the trained emergency people. i wonder who i would send the message to though because you can't really text 911.
so now i'm left with breaking into somebody else's pool. and the local outdoor pool in the middle of the night is what i thought of. just i really hope nobody sees me, that's the one thing that would go wrong with it right? i mean if i can break into the pool willy nilly then technically anybody else could too and what if there was somebody there or just somebody walking around in the area at the same time?
so yeah. this is my plan and these are all my worries about it not working out.
i suppose i better do practice run(s) first. because i'll also have to sneak out of my house at night after everyone in my house is asleep unless i stay out all day/don't come home for the night in the first place--but what explanation would i give for that so they don't get worried about me and call the police to search for me or something?). so i have to practice sneaking out at night (i just have to go down the hardwood (can be creaky) stairs). and then i'll practice attaching the weights to myself. and i'll also have to go the pool at night to see what it's like and maybe even practice hopping the fence/ getting in...
