My dog died today.

First and foremost, I don't want to use my dog as ring-bait. This is more like memoir of her. I have a bunch of problems today regarding to study or other familiar problems (Alcoholism). But in a few moments before, my dog died by drowning in his own vomit. I know this because I open his mouth spin out the rest of it. He stop breathing in front of me and make a few reflex. I want to encourage that if you are not a person who are highly sensitive about animals. don't open the spoilers.

I have an two mid-term exam this week, So I need to put my shit together and dig the grave today.
I don't If I could properly rest doing both things.

In spite of that I don't have time to vent or cry by the academic/familiar pressures. This thread is the only improvised memoir that at least I can do.

Oh man, I am so sorry to hear! My cat and best friend of 13.5 years had to be put down due to kidney failure last december, that was tough and I still miss him today. Pets are the most loyal and loving creatures, losing them is like somone ripping out a piece of your heart, it just leaves a hole that is impossible to fill.

In spite of that I don't have time to vent or cry by the academic/familiar pressures.

Understandable, I was also in a similar stressful situation when my cat got put down. Only 4 days later my mom got tested positive for Covid, the following 2 days my father and me. One week later my father had to be put in coma due to his lung inflammation for around 10 days (today he is fine again), and on top of that I should have had an exam that my professor let me delay due to my circumstances. I barely had time to mourn which made it difficult to get over. Please take your time and don't over-stress yourself there.

I'm so sorry. I know how it feels. I miss all my pets. Now I have one because it's a good companion. Difficult to live without a pet for me. Hope you can get better.
