My initial instinct was to say "congratulations", but I don't know how you feel about this sort of thing...so I apologize if that seems disrespectful or inappropriate..
Sorry you received that news. Even if you want to leave, being ill is not pleasant. If he said you have 6 months or less, I believe you may be able to get MAID help in some US states. Or possibly hospice help wherever you live. Good luck to you.
That is one of the organs that is very lethal to get cancer and definitely fatal if left untreated. How long it'll take will depend on what stage the cancer is at. Definitely a painful way to go out, though.
Knowing that this miserable life will be over soon makes me happy, no matter how painful it may be. By the time my family sees the signs, it'll be too late, and I will be gleefully on my way out. Screw them
Terminal illness kills us all if we do not die in some other way before. Nor would I have wanted to cure this disease, not at this point in my life anyway. I have other incurable health problems. Instead of just curing all diseases, the patient should also have the right to euthanasia.
I understand why you'd feel relieved at the thought of leaving this existence, I wish you the best and I hope that you find the freedom you search for.
I don't blame you, I have a DNR. Wasn't sure my doc would sign it, but I have had serious health issues so she did. I am sorry for the diagnosis, and your suffering.
