90 mph on a straight section of road, then veer off "accidentally" to hit a thick tree that I've already pinpointed on google street view. No seat belt, should be like crashing into a stone wall. Gets ruled as an accident. My family gets my life insurance.

Could still live. And be too damaged to be able to ctb on your own terms and stuck living disabled or disfigured or paralyzed. Too risky.

I think it's a bad idea. Just heard about someone that hit a semi truck head on in an attempt. Survived and suffered a lot.

Were they wearing their seat belt?

I doubt it, but not sure tbh.
My sister had a friend last year hit a semi head on and survived. It must happen more than you think!

Sorry. Investigators will look for brake marks in the road. If they see no brake marks, indicating the driver made an attempt to stop, they will deduce that it wasn't an accident...Plus the fact that ur not wearing ur seatbelt. Dead giveaway..

ESPECIALLY when insurance is involved. The insurance company will likely do their own investigation into whether or not the death claim is legit, to avoid paying out..

That's how investigators determined that a couple committed suicide a few yrs ago..They rode the car off a cliff and died along with their children. When detectives saw no brake marks in the road, they declared it a suicide...Investigators know that's a method so....

I can't find anything that backs this statement up online, and it would be helpful for you to show me online where I can read about the couple you're mentioning because I'm also skeptical of that. Here is one I found though that talks about one that was ruled accidental and not suicide:

The woman's name was Jennifer Hart. She drove her car off a cliff in CA, along with her wife and 6 adopted children. The investigators were even able to tell the speed at which she was driving, based on the vehicle's system (possibly a newer car). I also read in another article, that I don't have the time to find so maybe u can, that the road didnt have the tire streaks that would indicate that she tried to stop, based on investigator's reports..

They did find other clues in her phone, like searches, and the toxicology report noted a sleeping aid in her system, her wife's, as well as the children's..

My dad was a death investigator for a major police department. There were accident investigators in the department trained to be able to tell the difference between a true accident and a staged one, including brake and tire patterns. I also worked in auto insurance, and they can hire investigators if they don't have enough info from the police report to make a determination.

I would advise you read your life insurance policy to determine if it pays out for suicide after a certain length of time or not at all.

Before the crash Sarah Hart made Google searches inquiring about Benadryl, no kill shelters, and the nature of drowning.

No google searches from my side, besides, a subpoena for google searches is only in the event of a suspected crime such as this, not a single-occupant crash.

I wouldn't suggest u compare ur investigation to that of a wealthy oilman..I would imagine he had the $ to pay off (prior to his death) whomever he needed to, to get whatever he wanted his report to say...Another investigator, who's not on the payroll, could possibly have another finding..Just a thought..

No money pay-offs were involved, there was a 2-month investigation and it would have been found if it happened. You're pulling that out of nowhere.

How could u really b so sure that "no money pay-offs were involved" in a wealthy oilman's suicide?? Esp since he was facing jail time, felt like he couldn't survive jail, wouldn't want his family, peers to know he committed suicide, AND wanted his family get his life insurance.. Come on..

I'm "pulling that" out of the corruption that often takes place with the uber wealthy...

I don't see any mentions anywhere about suicide being suspected for anything I pull up.

It's like that article I found a few weeks ago in which a wealthy politician died by N but they implied it was an accidental overdose of sleeping medication....as if N is prescribed for that!

Ummmmm, maybe they weren't suicides..? My sister passed away in a car accident and there was never a question on whether it was a suicide or not, cuz it wasn't.

Evidence doesn't support that at all, and the level of corruption required for something like that to be true would be astronomical including at the police department. No way and that's my final answer.

Not sure what you're getting at. All of these were single cars hitting trees resulting in fatal injuries. Try the google search for yourself. I can't find anything that mentions suicide was suspected for any of them. Which means my article would look something like these. There's a huge burden of proof on something like suicide and they'll look for notes, emails, or anything showing intent first before casting that suspicion.

Even if you want to use a car, the more reliable method would be decapitation using a car, a tree and a rope. But very messy...

My friend, I have absolutely nothing to lose or gain by ur ctb by car accident. U made a thread and I, along with others, gave u info regarding this topic. Whether or not u choose to take the advice, is up to u. However, since ur looking for ur family to benefit from ur insurance, I would b very careful. Good luck.

I guarantee you most of the people in my links also had life insurance. Nothing to be careful about.
