My brother has just passed. I believe he may have posted here.

My brother passed a few days ago.. I am wondering if he posted on this site. It's unknown yet, but I have an extremely strong suspicion he used SN. The crazy thing is, I was going to do the same thing years ago.

Is SN painless? Did he likely feel anything? He took the SN(if that was the chemical), and had sweets to wash it down, on top of I'm assuming anti vomiting and also opioids.

Thank you. I tried so hard to recover. I did my recovery work, but the process entailed seeing my brother less, and I think this contributed to his decision greatly

My gosh, I don't even have the words ... I am terribly sad and sorry for your loss. It is so hard when we lose a loved one. Please take comfort in the fond memories you have of your time with him and know he is at peace now. And do not take on the pain of thinking your actions causes any part of this. We all make our own choices in life. And death. Your brother made his and that is for him to carry -- in this life, and the next. It sounds like you guys had a complicated relationship -- but he would not want you to think any of this is your "fault". We are all just doing the best we can in a truly cruel world -- you and your brother also. I will light a candle for you both. Again, my condolences ...

Thank you… I am slowly coming to terms with how he really did just make his own choice.. and complicated relationship seems like an understatement, but I do know we loved each other .

I am so, so sorry for your loss friend.

From what I understand, SN is more so just mildly uncomfortable, no intense suffering and certainly not drawn out for any time longer that 5 or 10 minutes, before drifting to sleep. I hope that can put your mind at ease some.
