Venting My boyfriend called the ambulance on me

So I couldn't just keep my mouth shut and told my boyfriend about potentially CTB this week. He talked to a friend of mine and they ganged up on me and called the ambulance. Now I have to go see the emergency department and bullshit my way out of it. Good thing I'm mostly sober, I don't have a visible fresh self injury scar and I'm completely verbal. I'm quite angry so I'm trying to calm down in order not to look too dangerous otherwise they may I voluntarily admit me. Wish me luck.

Sorry to hear that. I think it's such an imposition when a person takes it upon themselves to intervene in that dramatic a fashion. And of course it makes a depressed person even more afraid to open up when they know there might be major real-world consequences right away. It's all so backwards.

And don't feel bad about your username typo. I've never heard of the river Styx, so I wouldn't have known it was wrong, lol. Or maybe an admin can fix it for you, try a PM if you like.

Thank you! Yeah it's so annoying and the paramedics basically guilted me into coming with them.

Haha I just hate typos, but maybe it's a good thing to have a typo since TheRiverStyx is my username in a lot of other websites and this way I may be able to thwart the association.
