What music can bring you out of an episode or soothe you or makes you feel less alone or gives you energy or reminds you of your power or worth? 😁✨

Here are some of my cheesy go-to's
βœŒοΈπŸ˜‹

Matisyahu- sunshine

New radicals- you get what you give.

Elton John- I'm still standing

Sorry if there has already been a post similar to this, but couldn't find any, so maybe there were some but not so recent?

Awesome recommendations, thanks! I'll share some of the songs in my "good vibes" playlist.

Dexys Midnight Runners, Kevin Rowland - Come On Eileen (1982 Version)

Yes - Roundabout (2008 Remaster)

Wario Dance Company - WarioWare: Move It! OST

Nice idea for a thread I have a few suggestions but I just want to go with this one for now. Not sure how people will view it, it could sound depressing at first, I think it has a great message.

I like listening a lot to Chopin (in fact he is the inspo for my username here :pfff:), not that it gives me energy or uplifts me etc, but is hauntingly powerful in making me feel less alone, a lot of his pieces are like if you had directly transcribed my (and I think a lot of this forum members') emotions.

But for a song that "makes you feel less alone or gives you energy or reminds you of your power or worth" defo this one!!!

Ahhh I recognized the song when it changed, from an old advert, πŸ˜…πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ but it is sooo much more meaningful with the beginning, thank you for sharing, and please do share more if comfy.πŸ™πŸ˜Š

Awesome bops thank you, πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ίnot heard that Bowie song before, really cool!

Ahhh yes this! I forgot about how strong classical/ orchestra music can be, with resonating exactly as you say beautifully that it 'transcribes emotions', please feel free to post them too, you've just inspired me to post one that popped into my head. ✌️😁
And when listening to the one you posted, definitely know what you mean, the song really gave me some moving/fighting not giving up energy πŸ’ͺ

Classic!!! πŸ™Œ so fun to dance and sing to! I remember this song being on the dance mat too aha. πŸ˜‚

Not so much uplifting, but rather silly, but I do like Jazz Emu songs, for example:

And

They are so absurd that I can't help but feel better.

Also this one from Louis Cole:

I love Sia some of her music can be so uplifting. I used to listen Alive a lot, it would give me so much will to go on.
This one though and the video is my particular fav at the moment

That's one of the most beautiful things I've listened in a while. Thank you for letting me discover it.

The Sonic Frontiers boss music is so amazing at making one feel like such a badass who can accomplish anything. I kind of blame this game for partially making me want to kill myself less in late 2022 when it came out:

In case that last one didn't sound intense enough:

If these songs didn't keep killing my voice everytime I tried to sing them I think I'd be much closer to actually fully recovering. Luckily I suck with singing much like with everything else.

17:30 it starts getting really cool, 21:10 there are three exceptional dancers in a row, Wesley (purple shirt) is one of the best.

This is just open tryouts basically, so wide range of skill. Music and/or the dancers annoy me sometimes. But when you take time to really catch what the music is saying, what the dancer is saying, or when it all comes together its a hell of a vibe. I have my misgivings about this event and their music choices some events but its still alright.

Alesya is also fun to watch

This stuff is definitely an acquired taste but its roots go back to the 80s, even the 70s.

Natures Child - Eternity's Children

A whole lot of rainbows - The Salt < HARD TO GET MORE POSITIVE THAN THIS JOINT!!!

Bubbles - The free design

In case anyone's interested, I'd like to share a song from a beautiful animated movie from 1977 I recently knew about, "Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure". Lately I've been clinging to some of its songs. This one is about the two main characters' sibling relationship, and I find it so sweet, warm, innocent and comforting.
