It's another one of those songs where I feel like I'd be both the singer and the "recipient", more so the latter nowadays... Anyway, Lenny Zakatek's voice is sublime, as always, and this might be his best performance imo.

A cover of Carole King's You've Got a Friend, by dear Pou Vannary. My favourite version of the song. So much of the 60s Khmer music feels so haunting, and I don't think it's just from the historical context.

Honestly, absolutely anything by The Paper Chase is absolutely incredible, god bless your black heart & someday this could all be yours are 1000% the greatest albums I have ever listened to. It's incomparable to anything else i've ever heard, John Congleton is an absolute genius. I Urge you to give them a listen, and maybe even join the reddit. They deserve way more love.

I really love Let Down by Radiohead! It might sound a bit basic, but the part in which it says "Floor collapsing, falling, bouncing back and one day... I am gonna grow wings" means a lot to me. It could mean bouncing back after having a huge meltdown, or... it could also mean achieving success and freedom by going to the after life. The song just really hits the right spot and comforts me, no matter what emotion I'm having.

Yeah I think I love almost all the songs from kagepro as I am also a big fan of vocaloid in general!
On a personal level I would say that Yobanashi Deceive is my favourite since I relate to it more but Outer Science is a great pick too~

But wow I didn't think there would be so many kagepro fans here, I just got hit by massive nostalgia

I found this one today. Real beautiful tune, really. It's caught me on a morning just following a dream I had last night where I saw again the face of a girl who I really loved last year yet who I could never confess my feelings to out of plain nervousness/cowardice (and she's since moved far away, so I don't think I'll see her ever again). I've since tried my luck at romance two other times to no avail with women who I thought at the time amounted to that lady's utter wonderfulness, though I've since realized from those failures that I think that time with her was the chance God gave me to find love, and I failed it. Yet, clear by my dreams do I still long for her in a sort of starvation, leading me to sorrow. Anyway, it really resonated with me, this tune, since that dream caused me to "fall in love again" with this person who is long gone from my life.

It's prob one of my favourites songs, it's kinda funny how I once was a really annoying guy regarding music in general and now I like some pretty "niche" stuff, especially since I'm not Japanese and I also kinda can't really explain how I got into j-pop. Well, yorushika is my fav band/duo and this was the first song I listened to, it has some pretty touching lyrics and it is kinda nostalgic for me.
