I have the same wish. However, it would be very hard to trust the person. He could come and torture you, or he may chicken out and the police might arrest you. Just too risky. But yeah, I would give all I have for a good hitman.

I would love for my death to be out of my control, and I have offered people some money to kill me, but they didn't accept. An "official" hitman costs roughly $10,000 which is admittedly just a biiiit steep

Too bad most serial killers have a template victim for their murders. If there wasn't a picky serial killer, and there wasn't too much pain involved, I'd go willingly so nobody had to die who didn't want to. Incidentally, its thought there's one on the loose in one of the pacific northwest states, although admittedly, it could just be an ARG.

Ha, this has crossed my mind as well BUT if I had to pay i would allow them to stalk me and choose any time/place so that i didn't know when it would happen, it would just happen.
You'd think there would be a way to basically make the person follow through. Have the donation under your shirt. No before payment. Flash that you have a gift and then figure things out like you discussed before hand. Would be wonderful.

Hitmen can mess up, especially those we (vs countries, corporations, the mega rich) would use. It seems best to use a shotgun on a building ledge or water's edge.

Read up about what Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, the BTK killer, etc did to their victims. They were tortured and suffered gruesome deaths. So a serial killer is not the way to go. But maybe a mass shooter?

No need for guns or anything like an ice pick to the brain stem - which would be traumatic or frightening and also alert the authorities. Just take a huge dose of ambien+klonopin then hold a pillow over the face once the person who wants to die is fully unconscious. I would think this would be a very peaceful way to go. if I was doing it I'd even sit and hold the person's hand until they were gone. In my mind it wouldn't be murder - it would be a kindness that I'd do for free. [Though of course the law would see it very differently so you'd need that money to take the proper precautions.]
It still boggles my mind that we even have to have these conversations because no medical professional is allowed to help people who want a peaceful death.

In Colorado...it apparently doesn't cost much. Natalie Bollinger put a hit out on herself on Craigslist. If I remember correctly... It only cost her a handgun. She had previously failed by smashing her car into a tree. She lived that time and didn't want to fail again.
