I don't want to sound like a smart ass, but do you mean CTB? That is a term around here that indicates suicide. CBT is a type of therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to be exact. I just want to know what to recommend you.

Anyway, if you meant CTB, one of my favorite movies about suicide is called "My Suicide" or "Archie's Final Project." It was renamed, but I'm pretty sure it's still on Netflix.

Prayers for Bobby
I've seen clips about that one. The trailer makes me cry whenever I watch it. I read the book, or at least a part of it, since a lot of it was repetitive and boring, such as his mother's family background (there's not point for readers to know that, IMO). It was interesting seeing a lot of Bobby's journals, his struggles and his family's guilt.

The bit in Dead Poets Society where the kid kills himself moved me a lot when I first watched it. It's also poignant watching now as Robin Williams is in it.

Yeah, I love DPS, just watched it twice a few weeks ago. Have known that film for thirty years, so I know how I'd react to certain scenes and when parts begin to leave me cold that's very telling. Still enjoyed it though.

Other than that:
Ben X (a small Dutch film about an autist who gets bullied at school, really good)
American Beauty (to a degree)
Taxi Driver

But really the most beautiful suicide scene I've seen is from a Japanese film called Harmonium. It's a drowning, and I just so happen have a link:

This was hard for me to watch, but also weirdly heartwarming.

I liked Louis Theroux's assisted suicide doc, but then again I like anything he does

Oh! Suddenly remembered 'The Forest'. When I was in my Aokigahara obsession and finding everything I could find about it I watched this. Not the best movie but still interesting.

The Discovery (2017)
Haven't watched yet, some people say it's good, some are cursing it.
But the idea is that existence of afterlife was proven and millions of people started CTB.
Plus "What dreams may come" with Robin Williams
But it is not about suicide, more about afterlife.

I was not sure if you're wanting film that are specifically about suicide or film that involve suicide. If the latter is what you're wanting, I could expand on film that has suicide scenes. There are plenty!

I remember watching a cartoon ages ago, can't remember the title but the characters were called Sock and Jonathan. Sock, a serial killer is sent from hell to try and convince Jon to kill himself.

Welcome to Hell by Erica Wester. There's a short film online.

I watched heathers last night, a lot of the bits where they were writing suicide notes etc got me. Losing it on channel 4 (UK) is about mental health hospitals, a few cases are about suicide, an 11 year old girl wanted to kill herself. Very shocking.

Any other fictional films about suicide?

Just watched Seventh Continent a few weeks ago, my God that was depressing. Even the kid wanted to die.

Have seen Heathers too, although I see it more as a dark comedy.

Know the Louis Theroux docu, like most of his stuff too (although he got lazy a few years ago), but it's good stuff. Really like the two main characters, think Debra and Gus. Debra was so rational about her situation, loved it, whereas Gus had a really beautiful family and fulfilled life. Good humour too. Lovely guy.

And Soylent Green is indeed a fun film. Wouldn't mind if we had suicide centres in reality. Enjoy something nice for the senses, and then pass away in comfort.
