I've read Chinese embassies are really nice with great catered fresh gourmet food and they give "gifts" to visiting African diplomats (just cash). Why don't we do that? It's terrible but it works!) American embassies are awful. The coffee is stale, cheap crappy food, ect.

Obviously the marine guards at the embassy are more concerned with protecting classified intel because the CIA often uses diplomatic covers and embassies…
