Head trauma: take a high dose of aspirin and bash my head on the paving stones to cause a brain bleed, hopefully go into a coma and die within a day or two.

Infection: contaminate a deep cut on purpose and let the infection overwhelm my system.

How bad are these ideas? The infection one is probably not feasible, since people can live with infected wounds for a long time without dying, but I'm seriously thinking about the head trauma thing. I was reading an article recently about a man in the UK who died this way in prison (he didn't have aspirin though, just kept hitting his head until he died)

I have tried the head trauma in a slightly different fashion, you shouldn't do it. Aside from the potential permanent brain damage rather than death, it's very unreliable because you can never be completely precise which part of the brain you'll damage. And you also need to put your full weight into the blow (which I did), which most people can't do due to SI.

when i was a kid, i used to hit my head into walls. i used to do it earlier this year when i was having breakdowns after fighting with my parents all the time. i still wonder if i've given myself brain damage from how many times i've done it. i would get too scared when it started feeling too painful, because i was nervous my head would start bleeding. it requires a lot of strength to do it over and over again, and it also makes a lot of noise if you're doing it from inside a house.

Well if you want to go extreme with head trauma, I've thought about jacking up my car, laying under a wheel, and letting it drop. Wouldn't do it but the idea is tempting to me.

Yeah, I don't want my family to find me hanging :/ hopefully I can make myself die in a way that doesn't look totally suspicious.
