Hi Everyone,

My name is Nick, I am one of Mitch's friends who is the owner of this account. He left me his log in information in his note and specifically asked me to post something on his behalf and I am honoring his wishes.

Mitch took his own life last Friday, 5/14/21. He had drafted several notes to individual people and I am the only one he put the information for this website as he trusted me with it. Rest assured, no one else will know he was on this website as he specifically asked me to not tell anyone and I am honoring his wishes.

His statement goes as follows:

"By now, you know that I have taken my own life. I want no tears, I want no sadness, I want happiness that I am out of this fucked up world that I was never meant to be in. I want to thank anyone I interacted with here, you all made my last month better. I have trusted my best friend with this info to post this last statement. I hope this website continues to be a space for all people to engage in freedom of choice when it comes to their lives. I love you all and I wish you all peace - whatever that looks like. Mitch"

Mitch confided in me some of his struggles with depression, anxiety and other personal issues. His mind was truly tormented and while I already miss him terribly, I know he finally found the peace he's been seeking and for that I am happy. I'll always miss you bud, rest in peace Mitch.
