Venting Millions of sharks to be killed

I'm venting, scientists believe that shark oil can cure covid 19, so they are about to kill around 500 millions of them. They are already an endangerous species, how can you kill thousands of animals who prevent t cure a disease? Are we humans worth it such a sacrifice. All species are becoming endangerous by the day, Wales,dolphins, fish in general amongst other animal and plants, do t even make me talk about the Amazon. Forrest. It's not even a fact that they will cure it, but the mass shark slaughter has begun? Shame the mankind is not an endagerous species. I rather have that that destroy even more our Forrest and animals.

According to the articles I saw, Vaccines have already been killing sharks for years because their oil is somehow the cheapest fluid available. It's not something that has begun but it's already been happening for yearly flu vaccines. A COVID vaccine would only kill more sharks because we need more of them ASAP. If you want to live through this pandemic for nine more years while they find another solution then be my guest lol.

Also are sharks really any better than humans though? Hard to say. They may not be able to think as hard as we do and they look cool but they still cause pain for some other species out of necessity. Humans are just predating on them the way they predate on seals and fish but we happen to be more efficient at it.

Then again, I'm Chinese. I've had shark fin soup. I genuinely don't give two shits about the environment because the only reason anyone actually cares about other species is to soothe their own guilty conscience. That's my take anyway, I'm just evil for wanting the pandemic to end.

I know and I don't really care because suffering is universal and sharks aren't exactly wholly innocent either. I haven't had it since it became illegal here in CA if that helps

As for sources of "research", most I do not trust. Dig into academia, follow the money. Most "Non-Profits" are lining the pockets of somebody.

And absolutely, the human overpopulation will destroy the earth. We need a bigger pandemic where only the strong survive.

Shark oil is just an ingredient for the vaccines, not the cure for COVID19. Besides, humans harvest animals for a variety of products, have been doing so for centuries now. You know animals are still killed for their fur or leather? At least sharks are being killed for something useful, not to be worn by vain, rich people.
