mmm, not certain how much will be fatal vs just give ethanol (or similar) poisoning

Like Isopropanol alcohol in hand sanitizer, I read that a cup or half kills. Tell me what you think. Should I use it?

I'm concerned that alcohol poisoning might have unfun symptoms (as with many poisons), such as vomiting and difficulty breathing.
Also, what source said 1 or 1/2 a cup kills?
The source is Google artificial intelligence and I am also sorry for this sentence but this site does not provide me with a real way to do this as it is all difficult and I cannot go out to buy it
