Do you mean metaphysics as the philosophical field of the true nature of reality? If so, it is something I greatly enjoy discussing, although I'm not very good at it.
Nevertheless, there are, as in every philosophical field, many different perspectives and answers to the questions raised. There is the question of how the universe began and why it began. There is the question of whether sentient minds have free will or if conscious thought is deterministic. There is also the question of whether the mind exists solely in the brain or if the mind is a different "entity" entirely.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, tell me what you think about them. I would love to discuss your thoughts!
Many years ago I've seen my mother's husband wake up around 5am and walk around quietly and thinking.
I came to visit and joined him, interrupting his "meditation" time, I asked him to share with me what's going through his head. He said , I'm being thankful, I repeat myself many times over and over phrases which I gather from that old book you guys have seen me with years ago , and other phrases. The book is metaphysics 4 in 1 , by Connie Mendez
We had a wonderful talk.
I'm interested in what he told me, being grateful, starting the day that way and making declarations, he suggested me that book too. I'm buying it or downloading it in audio through YouTube to start listening.
I'm very interested in shaping my life, as wether why the universe began , I'm not really attracted to the question because it could lead me into a never ending rabbit hole. Is the mind in the brain or a completely different entity is so attracting , maybe Socrates has an answer for that.
I am interested, I feel I need to start on some basic issues if you would like to share I'd be happy too. I come here to SS one every two three days, sometimes daily. Happy to meet you.
Pa. I gotta leave to the airport now, flying home.
