When we are hurting, sometimes saying all that seems ironic. When no one understands, watching all the tinsel chucked all over the place can be hurtful and reinforce loneliness. And it's easy to miss what we may have once had.

But the essential wish is the same: now more than ever, I wish you well. That is a good thing.

I don't hate it.... I just don't really like holidays. First, it seems like so many holidays celebrated, at least in my country, are based on bullshit. I don't like having to be around people and having even more pressure to seem joyful, feeling trapped. I don't like feeling even more lonely and disconnected. I don't like having a reminder of how much more fortunate I am than others. Etc etc.

I wish you a happy day as well.

I used to love Christmas as a kid but now I just don't enjoy it as much now. But I still appreciate the post.

Christmas has become very hard over the past few years, but hate is too harsh a word. I have an appreciation for Christmas even though personally I am not in a place to enjoy it any more.

Xmas is for those with family's, Those of us who don't have a family have nothing but a empty void where happiness used to exist! And a empty void is really really Painful!!!
