• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I think I'm having hallucinations- a lot more than I usually do. And it's scaring me.

Anyone have these? How can I tell if they are?

I get really bad psychosis where I can feel hands and hooks digging into my skin. I also think there's an evil version of me that wants to kill me and he'll do it when my eyes are closed. The best way to stay sane is to rely on what is most likely happening. For example is it more likely that the walls have eyes or that they don't. Logically speaking the walls should not be staring at you. You can also try to be physically active or do a hobby (try to avoid screens if you've been on them a lot). If they go away after a while then it was a hallucination. Hope this helps.

Thankyou. I'm not sure.

I had texts yesterday from my bank saying all my money was gone. So I obv contacted them worried. They never text me. I checked and it was gone. I keep seeing men and I jump really scared. Then today at work a girl said my name really loud and I reacted but she was busy and hadn't said my name.

I don't know what's going on. If someone is playing a trick on me?
I also keep hearing my phone go off but nothing. I don't think it's hallucinations? I don't know. Cos I would swear my life or my pay on it. I don't know who's going this

When they are realistic that's the tricky part. I've had times where I'd imagine full convos with friends only to realize we never even started talking. I'll also be using my phone and then realize I never even picked it up. Do you have any other mental hardships and have you hallucinated before? I'd be really worried too if I heard that from my bank. Try and remain flexible and don't focus too much on certain aspects of reality. If something happens and then it disappears like text messages try and keep It moving with your day. I know that's really shitty advice and obvious but it's the best you can really do by yourself. Isolation brings worse delusions since you can't see how other people react to abnormalities.

im going through psychosis righ now too

I don't think i've ever hallucinated a text message before. That sounds really scary, especially the messages you thought you received. Did the bank actually respond to you saying they never messaged you?

in the past i hv had hallucinations of men standing for split seconds and it is really terrifying! I've also heard my name said before, and I thought it was people playing tricks on me when people said they never said anything.

Could there be any way of you contacting a doctor or mental health professional in order to talk to them about an illness you might have? It could be mental health issues, but also sometimes physical issues cause psychosis.

Well not sure this counts but I only ever have auditory hallucinations. Best way I can tell if there real is to try and confirm where the noise came from or if some one really was talking to me. Most of the time is will sound like some one another room yelling for me. So if I go check and no one is there or no one asked for me it or only wasn't real.

Hi. I've tried to talk to them today and they said to speak toy own mh team on monday. They didn't seem bothered. I've literally sat and cried and panicked as I don't know what's happening.

But they seem to think it's ok so maybe I should

You should ask your doctor for antipsychotic medication

I'm on quetiapine for that. And also sertraline for depression and lamotragine for mood
Everyone here is saying none of this happened. It DID I KNOW IT DID. I don't know what to think. How can this NOT be real?

Well, it's you who suggested it may also be a hallucination. None of us here can help you find out what really happened because we were not there. Next time something odd happens, try to record, film it or ask others around you if they also heard/saw whatever you just experienced or think you experienced. If you suspect an increase in hallucinations, talk to your doctor about a possible increase in quetiapine dose or a switch to another antipsychotic.

it happened to me yesterday as well. warping texture, color light specks on wall, sudden quiet sparks of light in my vision,

I don't know why in the brain these things s happen, but the visuals are harmless (unless they frighten you, because being scared is no fun). lately i've also been really paranoid and confused, scared. if it helps you you could try watching a childrens film. To me it's better, because even if something sad happens, the ending is usually happy

I have something called Visual Snow Syndrom, which makes it so I constantly see static over my vision. It also does other things as well, such as seeing moving dots.

What I'm getting at is that because of my VSS, I don't tend to notice I'm starting to hallucinate until I'm already deep into my phycosis(thank you bpd, so kind of you).

I don't really see people, but I'll see what I think are bugs. For the most part I hear whispering from other rooms, but my most common is randomly smelling sunscreen. I'll just be laying in bed and suddenly I smell sunscreen as if I just freshly applied it.

So I'm kinda worried that I AM possessed. This weird stuff that started happening happened since then so I m worrried.

And also a lot of it is connected to my phone. And I watched stuff on my phone.

I had little tiny not even 1/4 size grain rice mites crawling on my phone. And I can't squash them. They're not there all the time.

Then the other things like a cat on my sofa or I just had some eyes in the tv at me. so what if I am ? How do I get rid of it?
I'm starting to worry these aren't hallucinations and this is my new reality of the person who has attached themselves to me.

Should I buy a new phone?

So I just spoke to the crisis team as I'm getting a little scared and maybe they have encountered the same with someone else who comes across as mh stuff but it's someone else. Anyway the woman who rang me back she's not nice so I called back and asked to stay on the list for someone else.

Was told no one else I said not one person and she 'nope' so yea. I have to work this out myself.

I think I might rewatch it to see what happened and who he is but I'm scared he's gonna look at me or run at me so I dunno. But it would help?
Ok so I just read up on possession and stages etc and I feel like this is what's happening. It all aligns. I'm worried about the last part - but I'm happy? That I know it's not I. My head

'Demons attack in stages.

They start out with Infestation. This is when they first show up and they make themselves known. This is haunted house type activity in that they don't directly attack the person right away but instead do stuff to scare them. Doors and cabinets opening and closing by themselves, items moving or disappearing, disembodied voices, smells, and lights going out or flickering. In this stage they attach themselves to people and property.

Next comes Oppression. They step up their activity with physical attacks. They might assault or cut the individual, they torment them when they try to sleep, either by nightmares or with noises. They try their best to break the person down so they're easier to manipulate.

Then comes Obsession. The person is consumed with the activity and they cannot think straight and are on the verge of a mental breakdown'

hi hi hello!!!! um when this stuff happened to me I used to always think I was being attacked by demons, being haunted by ghosts, having ghost and demons trick me and follow me, but I discovered that the most likely origin of "demonic possession" is likely delusions and hallucinations from ancient cases of schizophrenia, schizoeffective, bipolar, and so on and so forth, because back in those days you could not treat those conditions so easily.

These days I have "considerations" of the possibility of my body being infested with demons (+more), but I try to only part-believe
If it makes you feel better, you can=
- pray to God
- cross yourself
- draw crosses
- imagine a holy light surrounding you
- sleep with the lights on
- read the bible
- listen to ancient church music (or modern church music if u want)
- read a children's book
- watch a children's movie
- if you have an animal, and you are feeling scared, look to your animal, and you will see that the animal may be calm, indicating that there is no ghosts or demon in ur house/room

Not to be offensive by any means, but are you taking any medication? Illegal drugs? I would start with some labs from your Dr 1st and see what the results say. I had a condition sorry can't remember the name where I could feel bugs crawling under my skin. If I taped my skin the sensation went away. Long story short I was so stressed out and in the midst of a nervous breakdown. I could see bugs crawling on my wall but nobody else did and called maintenance several times. I've had 3 major episodes and psych meds helped but I literally moved and it all stopped.

Are you stressed out? Overwhelmed? Maybe try listening to music and see if that helps.
