Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Has anyone had any success with medication in treating cptsd? If so what meds have helped?

I haven't been on meds specifically for C-PTSD, but rather the PDD that accompanies it. I've found that mirtazapine has helped me with sleep, as well as OTC delayed-release melatonin. Just a side note that mirtazapine increases appetite which for me is great since I'm underweight but if you're overweight it might not be a good option. Prozac has helped with stability but increases my anhedonia.

Starting tomorrow I'm going to be getting weened off Prozac and starting venlafaxine. SSRIs haven't really helped me much and I've never tried an SNRI. If I remember to check in with you in about a month or so I'll let you know how it went.

Do note that medication alone isn't going to help with C-PTSD. It will alleviate the symptoms, but if you want to solve the problem you'll need a therapist who specializes in trauma. I was lucky enough to find a psychologist who does just that and it's been life-changing.

what symptoms are you dealing with currently?

there is a community for cptsd on reddit. there are a lot of posts about medication for cptsd on there, maybe that would be a good place to start?

do you have a therapist to talk to, or a psychiatrist who can help suggest medications?

Like dragonofenvy has said you should try to do traumatherapy to treat CPTSD, medication doesn't really help. It can only help in some of the symptoms like insomnia or accompying depression, if you suffer from it.

Look into ibogaine (may not be legal depending on where you live) and stellate ganglion block (not a med but a relatively simple medical procedure)
