  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Many here are hurt or sick, each in our own way. I am no Buddhist, but try to appreciate wisdom whenever I come across it (if it's not over my head).

The following, on mediations for the sick and dying, may be worth a read for some. Focusing on the present, and the good in the moment however small, brings me some relief occasionally, even if it's temporary. I wish I had made more conscious and sustained efforts to seek peace when young (it is hard, takes much effort). It would have yielded immense dividends.

Thanks. In addition, there's many audio talks on ITALK, free play, about Dharma and death. Buddhism has helped me to confront death as part of living.. My situation perhaps different to many here, due to physical illness, I have lost my fear of death. I see life as an inevitable path to death because everyone and all.things are impermanent.
