Has anyone else been sucked into the prescription medication cycle? For instance, I took accutane for 8 months, which led to bad anxiety/ED, which led me to take remeron, which led to more ED and fatigue, which led to a doctor saying that's way to powerful of a drug, to be put on Lexapro, which caused genital anesthesia/anorgasmia/loss of libido/pelvic floor dysfunction/insomnia, which led to me to Trazodone, going back to remeron, gabapentin, klonapin, Xanax..... I don't mean to sound like a conspiracy theorist but isn't it strange how these "safe" drugs lead to persistent side effects that are "treated" by other pharmaceuticals that lead to more side effects? And that nobody really can do anything about it because these are used for people with mental health issues so they can just blame "psycho somatic" or "symptoms of depression?" Like what percentage of the psychiatry field actually is in on this? They have no reason to disclose these problems because they profit off of them. Akin to gerrymandering in politics, If the laws (or studies) are being created/done by those in power, and those in power are benefiting from the results, there is no incentive to change anything. Anyone see any way out of this? How many whistleblowers will it take?
