Society and history. They say those who never learn from history are doomed to repeat it. This might be controversial today, but I want to talk about society in general, and two lesser spoken about countries which have bred the most disgusting individuals to have ever walked the earth. Capitalism in all forms is scum. I am not a communist, I'm kinda an apolitical type. They say that if you work hard enough to reach a goal, you will end up there. But if that were true, what about the millions of lower middle class people, working a meaningless 9 to 5, having no meaning in their life, trapped by consumerism, sitting there feeling empty, eating shit, watching porn, living in regret. Those people aren't necessarily stupid, lazy or bad people. They were lied to. and rather than being the 1%, they are the 99%. Whether you are the 1% is decided at birth. You roll a dice. If you are born to rich assholes, no matter how retarded, lazy or evil you are, you will always have bail, always be at the top, and always have power. No matter what ideology society is in, whether it be capitalism, communism or fascism, we will end up with this scenario. There is no other way for there to be a social order. I hate our culture and how individualist it is when it destroys the individual, but all cultures end up in a disgusting state, far from the goals they tried to achieve, destroying the common man, leading to mass surveillance, mass genocide and supporting pedophiles on fucking twitter. Society is an inescapable evil.
Two nations are quite controversial, and I will go into them. Palestine is a nation that volunteered thousands of men to sacrifice their lives in WW2 fighting for the Allied forces. Around 80 years later, they are being ruthlessly bombed by the same people that they ended up saving from Nazi genocide. And the fact that politicians are supporting the actions of Israel in the war is alarming. I understand that Palestine has attacked Israel, but these are terrorists we are talking about. Most terrorists flee to a compound in another country, while women and children burn to death in hospitals supposed to be sanctuaries.
On the topic of WW2, there is a nation that I personally have been affected by. Japan. No, it is not a Kawaii society, and they fail to acknowledge the inescusable atrocities they have committed. Mass genocide, human experimentation and rape, forcing incest at gunpoint are all things that they have done, and done to my ancestors. And those war criminals? They are honoured and given offerings to at Yasukuni shrine. How disgusting.
